Job Description: Kit Assembler

then this exciting opportunity is for you as a Kit Assembler.

The Position

The Kit Assembler will ensure the accurate and timely assembly of Trudell Healthcare Solutions Inc. Custom Kits.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assembly and Packaging:
    • Assemble plastic components into finished goods following Work Instructions, cGMPs, safety procedures, and quality policies.
    • Create and print labels for manufacturing orders.
    • Manual assembly, labelling, and packaging of components.
    • Handle parts, finished goods, and materials throughout production.
  2. Inspection and Documentation:
    • Perform visual inspections to ensure quality.
    • Stop processes and notify managers if issues arise.
    • Generate assembly orders using D365.
    • Maintain accurate device history records and update manufacturing orders.
    • Communicate scheduling needs with the production scheduler.
    • Maintain timesheets and other documentation.
    • Perform line clearance and cleaning verifications.
Requirements, Qualifications & Skills
  1. Education and Experience:
    • Secondary school diploma.
    • At least one year of experience in a team environment.
  2. Skills and Knowledge:
    • Manual and automated assembly, labeling, packaging skills.
    • Ability to detect small non-conformances visually.
    • Knowledge of quality systems and GMPs.
    • Completion of WHMIS and safety training.
    • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  3. Physical and Working Conditions:
    • Ability to handle small components and lift up to 40 pounds.
    • Ability to stand, walk, sit, and reach mid-height.
    • Work in a cleanroom environment with occasional interruptions.
    • Overtime eligibility.
