Job summary

Nordik Spa Village in the Ottawa-Gatineau region is seeking passionate kiosk associates to operate seasonal kiosks during the holiday period. You will promote and sell spa products and services, welcome high volumes of customers, and support gift certificate sales.

Full-time and/or part-time schedules, November 12 to December 26 inclusive, with mandatory training on Oct 24 or Nov 7. Opportunities to join the Nordik Spa Village team after the contract.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in customer service.
• Bilingualism is an asset (essential for some locations).
• Proficiency with MS Office and ability to learn new software.

We are looking for passionate kiosk associates in the Ottawa-Gatineau region to join our village.

Under the supervision of the kiosk supervisors, the kiosk associate will operate one of Nordik Spa Village's temporary kiosks during the holiday season. Their main objective will be to promote and sell various spa products and services that meet our customers' needs while achieving our sales targets. To make your efforts even more rewarding, you'll have the chance to take part in a sales incentive program designed to recognize and celebrate performance.

What You Will Do

• Inform customers about Nordik Spa Village's various services and products.
• Identify customer needs while creating sales opportunities.
• Support the sale and purchase of Nordik gift certificates.
• Welcome and serve high volumes of customers.
• Handle kiosk opening and closing procedures.
• Perform any other related duties.

Profile We're Looking For

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and an aptitude for learning new software.
• Experience with a point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Ability to manage stress.
• Versatility, rigour, and autonomy.
• A sense of initiative.
• Punctuality and reliability.
• Professional and collaborative attitude.
• Ability to stand for long periods.

Requirements

• A minimum of one year of experience in customer service.
• Bilingualism, an asset (essential for certain locations).

Work Schedule & Locations

Full-time and/or part-time positions – Variable schedule (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays required).

Must be available from November 12 to December 26 inclusive, and plan to attend a mandatory one-day training session, either on October 24 or November 7.

Depending on your performance and operational needs, you may have the opportunity to join the Nordik Spa Village team after your kiosk contract ends.
