Job summary

Rise Air is seeking a captain for King Air medevac operations based in La Ronge, Saskatchewan. You will lead high-stakes patient transports on a rotational schedule, coordinating with medical crews and dispatch to ensure safe, timely care in northern communities.

Primary responsibilities include thorough flight planning, performance and fuel calculations, weather assessments, and strict adherence to Transport Canada rules and Rise Air standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1,500 hours total time with 500 PIC, 500 multi-engine, 500 turbine hours.
• Current Multi-Engine Instrument Rating.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada.
• Ability to obtain a Transport Canada RAIC.

Responsibilities

• Captain King Air medevac flights based out of La Ronge, on a rotational schedule.
• Deliver safe, timely patient transport while coordinating with medical crews and dispatch.
• Perform thorough flight planning, performance and fuel calculations, and weather/route assessments.
• Operate to Rise Air Flight Operations procedures, Transport Canada regulations, and client standards.
• Lead by example in a safety-first culture, fostering strong crew communication and decision-making.
• Maintain all required training, currency, and documentation.
