Job summary

Brock University is seeking Teaching Assistant, Course Coordinator and Lab Demonstrator positions to support the Human Growth and Development course offerings. Compensation is set by CUPE Local 4207 rates: undergraduate level at $23.30 per hour and graduate level at $36.67 per hour, effective Sept 1, 2026.

Positions are contingent on course enrollments and budget approval; hours minimum 30 per contract. Office contact: [e-mail] for more information.

Qualifications

• Must have obtained a degree in Kinesiology or equivalent.
• Must have experience with or knowledge of the course material.
• Prior teaching and/or research experience in the discipline is preferred.

Responsibilities

• The duties and responsibilities include scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom time (seminar material preparation, student consultation, marking or grading, examination proctoring, attending lectures, holding office hours, and other course administration).
• Duties must comply with Article 22 of the CUPE Local 4207, Unit 1 Collective Agreement.
• Coordinate and support course-related activities as assigned by the Department of Kinesiology.
