Job summary

Brock University in Ontario’s Niagara region seeks Teaching Assistant, Course Coordinator and Lab Demonstrator roles for gymnastics courses under CUPE4207-1. Positions depend on enrolments and budget approvals and are on-campus with flexible arrangements where possible.

Compensation is hourly: the undergraduate rate is $23.30 per hour and the graduate rate is $36.67 per hour, effective Sept 1, 2026. Minimum 30 hours per contract are required.

Qualifications

• Must have obtained a degree in Kinesiology or equivalent.
• Must have experience with or knowledge of the course material.
• Prior teaching and/or research experience in the discipline is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach/assist per CUPE Local 4207 Article 22, including seminar prep, student consultation, marking, exams, lectures and office hours.
• Coordinate course components as Course Coordinator and Lab Demonstrator as assigned.
• Work minimum of 30 hours as part of the contract and support course administration.
