Job description

About us

Rebalance Rehab is a multidisciplinary rehabilitation clinic serving the Fraser Valley since 2015. Our team spans physiotherapy, massage therapy, kinesiology, counselling, and clinical Pilates — and beyond our clinic walls, our community and facility care division delivers care in long-term care homes, in-home active rehab, and First Nations communities from Hope to Abbotsford.

The role

We’re looking for a community-based Kinesiologist to join our team, working across two long-term care facilities in Abbotsford alongside in-home sessions. You’ll develop and deliver personalized exercise and rehabilitation programs for our geriatric population to help them reach specific functional goals — working independently or in collaboration with a Physiotherapist. It’s a chance to build real, ongoing relationships with clients in the communities where they live, not just within four clinic walls.

What makes us different
  • Meaningful work with the geriatric population, with the continuity to really get to know your clients over time
  • A collaborative team of physiotherapists, kinesiologists, massage therapists, and counsellors to learn from and refer to
  • Administrative support and a work laptop supplied, so you can focus on care
  • Community reach from Hope to Abbotsford — work that goes beyond the traditional clinic setting
What we're looking for
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology
  • Certified member of the BC Association of Kinesiologists
  • Valid BC driver’s licence — driving during your shift is required
  • At least 1 year of experience doing kinesiology work (Will consider New grad for the right person)
  • Experience working in a physical rehab environment is an asset
  • Compassion, integrity, and a collaborative, team-first approach
Compensation & benefits

Rate negotiable, depending on experience ($24 to $26/hour to start). Extended health and dental care, vision care, disability insurance, and RRSP matching for employees. Professional development training and support included.
