Job summary

SE Health is seeking a casual Kinesiologist to join the Cardiovascular & Pulmonary Rehab Program in Vaughan. You will collaborate with a Physiotherapist to provide assessment and direct treatment for cardiovascular and pulmonary patients in a gym environment.

This on-call position emphasizes team collaboration, individualized patient care, and flexible scheduling to support recovery goals within a multi-disciplinary health care team. Salary ranges are provided and accommodations may be available.

Qualifications

• Provide assessment and direct treatment in gym environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Work on an interdisciplinary team in a dynamic fast paced environment.
• Work with adults individually and in group settings.
• A positive work and attendance record is essential.
• Adapt to new computer applications.
• CPR & AED certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual assessment and direct treatment of Cardiovascular & Pulmonary patients while collaborating with the Physiotherapist.
• Communicate with the team about patient progress and possible program modifications on a timely basis.
• Communicates effectively with patients and caregivers regarding patient activities/progress.
• Support and reinforce treatment plans in collaboration with Physiotherapists.
