Job summary

Agape ECS seeks a caring, enthusiastic Kindergarten Teacher for maternity leave replacement from December 2026 to December 2027. The role involves planning and delivering developmentally appropriate learning experiences aligned with the Alberta Kindergarten Program and the center’s values.

You will plan engaging activities, observe and document children’s progress, and collaborate with a team to support each child’s growth and development.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering developmentally appropriate learning in early years.
• Ability to observe and document children's development.
• Collaborative team player with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging, play-based learning experiences
• Follow and support the Alberta Kindergarten curriculum and applicable ECS requirements
• Observe, document, and assess children’s learning and development
• Develop learning goals and activities based on children’s individual strengths, interests and needs
• Maintain accurate classroom and child documentation
• Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, flexibility and a willingness to work as part of a team
