Job description

Southland ISD is searching for a Kindergarten teacher to join our Southland Teaching Family. The candidate must have a current and valid EC-4 Texas content-specific certification or be able to obtain one through a TEA-approved alternative certification program.

The successful candidate will:

1. Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in all subject areas.
2. Help students fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth.
3. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.

The teacher must be willing to sponsor an academic enrichment activity, organization, class, UIL, and other extracurricular activities if assigned.
