Job summary

Wolfcreek is seeking a Part-time Educational Assistant to support Kindergarten students, particularly those with diverse needs, in an inclusive classroom. The role is 0.45 FTE with Tuesday and Thursday duties, plus occasional Friday, starting ASAP through the 2026/2027 school year.

You will help with behavioural supports, co-regulation, personal care, and meals as needed, collaborating with a supportive team to foster safe, engaging learning experiences for all students.

Qualifications

• Experience with students with complex needs in a Kindergarten classroom.
• Ability to formulate strong and healthy relationships.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive personality.
• Calm and patient approach to solving problems and assisting with co-regulation.
• Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-orientated learning environment.
• Ability to work one-on-one or with a student in an inclusive environment.
• Background and/or experience with complex behavioural needs.
• Ability to be flexible in assigned duties; may include personal care, hygiene, and assisting with meals.

Responsibilities
