Job summary

KidStrong is seeking a passionate part-time Coach in Calgary to lead energetic classes for children aged 15 months to 11 years. You will deliver age-appropriate activities, foster confidence and family engagement, and create a fun, safe learning environment.

Applicants should bring coaching experience with kids, strong communication with parents, CPR certification, and a self-driven, high-energy approach. Weekday evenings and weekend shifts are available. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching children in the 15mo–11 years range or pediatric rehab exposure.
• Ability to explain curriculum to parents clearly.
• Knowledge of safe exercise technique and body mechanics.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging KidStrong classes for ages 15 months to 11 years.
• Educate and communicate with parents about the curriculum and progress.
• Ensure safety and correct form during exercises and activities.
• Maintain a positive, energetic environment and punctual class delivery.

OPEN ROLE

• We are looking for coaches with an athletic or coaching background who ideally have experience coaching kids ages 15mo-11 years old or pediatric OT/PT experience.
• Our classes run on weekdays 4 - 745 pm
• On weekends we run from 8-1 and 1-5 pm

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience coaching students within the appropriate KidStrong age
• Experience talking to and educating parents on our curriculum
• Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
• CPR certified
• Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
• Self-starter that just gets a job done
