Job summary

KidStrong in Red Deer is seeking energetic coaches to work with children from walking ages through 11 years old. Classes run mid-morning and evenings on weekdays, with weekend shifts including birthday parties.

You will educate parents about the curriculum, model safe exercise techniques, and contribute to a fun, professional team. Training and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching children in the target age range (15 months to 11 years).
• Ability to explain curriculum to parents clearly.
• Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics.
• CPR certification.
• Positive, motivating interpersonal communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead classes on weekdays, mid-mornings and evenings (4 pm–7:45 pm).
• Weekend shifts, including mornings and birthday party events.
• Engage with parents and kids to deliver a fun, educational experience.
• Help with program growth and opportunities for advancement.

WHAT IS KIDSTRONG?

At KidStrong, we help parents build stronger, smarter, more athletic kids. Our private training centres focus on the brain, physical and character development for ages walking through 11 years old. KidStrong is a science-based curriculum that is parent-focused and taught by our professional coaches!

KidStrong is rapidly growing and we're looking for talented, enthusiastic professionals who are passionate, energetic, and excited to engage with parents and kids and make an impact on their lives.

OPEN ROLE

• We are looking for coaches with an athletic or coaching background who ideally have experience coaching kids ages 15 mo-11 years old.
• Our classes run on weekdays mid-mornings and evenings 4 pm until 7:45 pm.
• On weekends we have a morning shift 8-1 and afternoon shift 1-6 including birthday parties!
• Opportunities for advancement including Membership Director and Assistant General Manager roles!

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience coaching students within the appropriate KidStrong age
• Experience talking to and educating parents on curriculum
• Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
• CPR certified
• Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
• Self-starter that just gets a job done
