Job summary

Autism Services in Regina seeks an experienced Home Visitor who can float among four Kids First agencies in the City of Regina, addressing two priority areas for Rainbow Youth Centre and Kids First Regina Head Office. The HV Float delivers in-home, virtual and office visits to families with complex needs, collaborating with diverse teams while maintaining confidentiality and timely documentation.

A valid driver’s license and ability to travel across Regina are required.

Qualifications

  • 3 years experience working with vulnerable families.
  • Experience in home visiting or outreach preferred.
  • Ability to work as part of a community-based team.
  • Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
  • Experience serving diverse families in a nonjudgmental, culturally sensitive manner.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR.
  • Valid Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check.
  • Willingness to float among four Regina agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Home Visiting Services across four Regina agencies to maintain service capacity.
  • Demonstrate flexibility with families with complex needs.
  • Adapt to agency platforms and ways of working.
  • Perform administrative duties and participate in evaluation and supervision.
  • Deliver services in home, virtual, and office settings to support curriculum delivery.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Home Visitor to take on position that would essentially be able to float among four different Kids First agencies in the City of Regina. This position would address two priority areas for Rainbow Youth Centre and Kids First Regina Head Office.

Qualifications
  • 3 years experience working with vulnerable families.
  • Experience in home visiting, or outreach is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability in navigating as a team member in community- based organizations
  • Ability to work independently and seamlessly integrate into a team. The successful candidate will be accessible, accountable, and responsive in their interactions.
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate work and use time efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated experience in a team approach to serving families, in a nonjudgmental, and culturally sensitive manner.
  • Demonstrated awareness of diversity and multiculturalism and the importance of promoting and supporting it in our community.
  • Valid Drivers License and reliable vehicle
  • Valid First Aid and CPR
  • Valid Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check.
Position Responsibilities

Leadership you will have experience working with vulnerable populations to provide Home Visiting Services to all four Regina agencies to maintain a steady level of service capacity and enhanced service delivery. The HV Float will need to:

  • Demonstrate flexibility in working with families who present with complex needs
  • Be adaptable to agency platforms and ways of working.
  • Administration-meeting standards of administrative duties expected of a Regina Kids First Agency, participating in regular evaluation and program supervision.
  • Documentation In order to uphold standards of service, and to report the agencies and Kids First Regina office, the HV Float will utilize
  • The HV Float would be providing services in home, virtual and office visits with individual families as appropriate to ensure curriculum delivery.
