Life Time Inc. in Mississauga is seeking a Kids Instructor to deliver best-in-class, educational and fitness-minded programming for children aged three months to 11 years. You will organize, instruct and supervise activities, ensuring safety and engagement during Kids Academy sessions.

The role involves hosting events, promoting junior programming and maintaining program areas. A focus on child development, strong communication and customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• Less than a High School Diploma or GED
• First Aid certification and CPR/AED certification within 60 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Greets members and guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Instructs and organizes activities to foster cognitive, social, emotional and physical development
• Prepares and sets up for class and transports children as needed
• Maintains attendance, development and incident records
• Ensures a safe environment and handles incidents calmly
• Uses positive behavior management and communicates with parents and team
• Promotes junior programming to increase participation
• Maintains the Kids Academy areas and restocks supplies
• Handles incidents and emergencies professionally
