Value Buds is looking for a motivated Keyholder to join our team. You will be the face of the brand, delivering exceptional service and guiding customers through the cannabis product range.

This role emphasizes leading by example, taking ownership during shifts, and supporting teammates in a fast-paced retail environment. Experience in retail or hospitality is preferred and certification in cannabis compliance is valued.

About the Role

We're looking for a motivated and dependable Keyholder to join our team. As a Keyholder, you'll be the face of our brand, providing exceptional service while helping customers navigate the exciting world of cannabis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading by example, taking ownership during their shifts, and supporting both customers and teammates in a fast-paced setting.

What You'll Do

• Create a welcoming experience for every customer
• Provide product recommendations and cannabis education
• Support daily operations including merchandising and store upkeep
• Operate the POS, handle payments, and issue receipts
• Restock shelves, receive deliveries, and complete basic inventory checks
• Ensure compliance with cannabis regulations, including ID verification

About You

• Previous retail, customer service, or hospitality experience
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude
• Cannabis selling certification (Selling It Right, SellSafe, CRTP, CRWTP, or CanSell)
• Minimum age requirement based on province (18/19+)
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
• Eligible to pass a Criminal Record Check
