Job summary

Pet Valu in Gander, NL is seeking a part-time Keyholder to support daily store operations and customer engagement. You will cashier, stock merchandise, and assist with deliveries while upholding safety and service standards.

A friendly, reliable team member with at least 2 years of retail experience is ideal. This role offers staff discounts, training, and flexible scheduling to accommodate evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in retail or customer service.
• Working knowledge of POS system.
• Outgoing and friendly personality with strong customer service skills.
• Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively.
• Flexible schedule incl. evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation; driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Cashier and customer sales.
• Preparing merchandise orders, banking and other miscellaneous paperwork.
• Placing small items (under 10 lbs) into stock in the sales area.
• Sweeping, dusting and other general store maintenance functions.
• Assist in unloading delivery vehicles and stocking.
