La Vie en Rose in Surrey is seeking a part-time sales associate to welcome customers, help them find lingerie, sleepwear and swimwear, and achieve personal sales goals. You will be part of a dynamic, fashion-focused team in a family-owned business that values community involvement.

This permanent role offers an hourly wage in the $18.50–$19.90 CAD range, with benefits and flexible hours. Bilingual ability is considered an asset and growth opportunities are available.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the store management team, advise customers to maximize sales potential and handle opening and closing duties.
• Provide customers with a warm welcome and help them find products, explain features and suggest alternatives.
• Assist customers in fitting rooms and place products on the sales floor for a memorable experience.
• Meet and exceed personal sales goals and assist in managing the sales floor when managers aren’t present.
• Maintain store and backstore cleanliness and support other duties to help the team.

Under the supervision of the store management team, you will be responsible for advising customers to maximize sales potential as well as opening and closing the store. To perform your job well, you will need to:

• Provide customers with a warm welcome;
• Help them find everything they’re looking for—answer their questions, explain the products (quality, materials, technical features) and suggest other products they might like;
• Make yourself available when customers are in the fitting room;
• Meet and exceed your personal sales goals (our training will help you get there!);
• Manage the sales floor when your managers aren’t there;
• Prepare, identify and place products on the sales floor to provide a memorable shopping experience;
• Ensure everything is clean and tidy in the store and backstore;
• Be on the lookout for new products so you can share your top picks with your customers;
• Accompany customers to the cash register and process their transactions;
• Respect and apply the policies and procedures of the various head office departments (don’t worry, we’ll explain everything to you!);
• Perform other duties where needed to support the team.
