Job summary

Bikini Village in Winnipeg, MB is hiring for a permanent, part-time retail role. You will warmly welcome customers, help them find lingerie, sleepwear, and swimwear, and provide excellent service to meet personal sales goals.

The position offers a flexible schedule, opportunities for advancement, and a chance to be part of a family-owned business committed to the community. Experience in fashion retail and a customer-first mindset are assets.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience in retail ideally in fashion or accessories.
• Strong customer service mindset with ability to understand client needs.
• Proactive approach and willingness to work busy periods.
• Open to working holidays and longer hours when needed.
• Functional bilingualism is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a warm welcome.
• Help them find products, explain features and materials, and suggest related items.
• Be available in fitting rooms to assist customers.
• Meet and exceed personal sales goals with training support.
• Manage the sales floor when managers aren’t present.
• Arrange products on the floor to create a memorable shopping experience.
• Keep store and backroom clean and organized.
• Highlight new products to customers and share top picks.
• Escort customers to the register and process transactions.
• Follow head office policies and procedures as explained.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a warm welcome;
• Help them find everything they’re looking for—answer their questions, explain the products (quality, materials, technical features) and suggest other products they might like;
• Make yourself available when customers are in the fitting room;
• Meet and exceed your personal sales goals (our training will help you get there!);
• Manage the sales floor when your managers aren’t there;
• Prepare, identify and place products on the sales floor to provide a memorable shopping experience;
• Ensure everything is clean and tidy in the store and backstore;
• Be on the lookout for new products so you can share your top picks with your customers;
• Accompany customers to the cash register and process their transactions;
• Respect and apply the policies and procedures of the various head office departments (don’t worry, we’ll explain everything to you!);
• Perform other duties where needed to support the team.
