The Key Account Manager – Oncology is a field-based role working with Hematologic Oncologists, Nurses, Pharmacists, and Coordinators to facilitate the use of Sanofi’s therapies in Multiple Myeloma. The KAM serves as the primary contact, leveraging cross-functional resources to optimize patient outcomes.

This role requires a highly motivated professional with a strong sales background in Oncology and Hematology. The ideal candidate excels in scientific exchange, relationship building, and understanding complex institutional environments.

Main Responsibilities
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets for Oncology products in the Multiple Myeloma space.
  • Develop and execute a territory business plan using market data and insights, updating it as needed.
  • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals including Hematologic Oncologists, nurses, and pharmacists.
  • Support institutions through formulary and budget approval processes.
  • Educate healthcare teams on Sanofi therapies’ clinical benefits and usage.
  • Facilitate peer-to-peer learning to optimize treatment pathways.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to inform strategy and identify growth opportunities.
  • Implement regional learning activities and utilize digital tools for engagement.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of Multiple Myeloma and evolving treatment paradigms.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and complete administrative tasks.
  • Participate in meetings, conferences, and training programs.
  • Travel approximately 50% of the time, including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Science, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of specialty pharmaceutical sales experience, preferably in Oncology or Hematology.
  • Proven sales record in a specialty pharmaceutical setting.
  • Deep understanding of Hematology/Oncology treatment landscapes, patient journeys, and market access.
  • Experience with institutional accounts, reimbursement, and formulary approvals.
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and communication skills.
  • Experience with digital engagement tools and CRM systems.
  • Ability to travel within the territory and internationally as needed.
  • Ability to work independently and execute strategic plans under tight timelines.
