Key Account Manager – Travel Vaccines – Central Region
This role will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with key accounts including travel clinics, healthcare providers, government agencies, and corporate travel organizations. The Key Account Manager will play a critical role in driving market adoption, optimizing distribution channels, and achieving sales targets for our travel vaccine portfolio.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to establish and maintain relationships with key accounts in the travel vaccine segment, including travel clinics, healthcare providers, government agencies, and corporate accounts
- Drive sales and market penetration of travel vaccines by identifying opportunities, implementing promotional strategies, and conducting educational initiatives
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., marketing, medical affairs, supply chain) to align strategies and initiatives that support business objectives and customer needs
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to develop actionable strategies that enhance competitive positioning and market share
- Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts to understand their needs, address challenges, and identify opportunities for partnership and growth
- Implement pricing strategies, contracting initiatives, and distribution agreements to optimize market access and ensure product availability
- Prepare and deliver presentations to key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, decision-makers in travel organizations, and senior management, providing updates on sales performance and strategic initiatives
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements in all sales activities and interactions
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales, with a focus on key account management and/or specialty vaccines
- Proven track record of success in developing and implementing sales strategies, achieving sales targets, and driving market adoption
- Strong understanding of vaccine distribution channels, healthcare provider relationships, and travel medicine industry dynamics
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Strategic thinker with analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of identifying opportunities and implementing proactive solutions
- Ability to travel as needed

Salary Range - $105k - $165k
Location: Remote – US Headquarters: Durham, NC
