Job summary

Nestlé Canada is seeking a results-oriented Key Account Manager for Sobeys on the Waters, based in Brampton, Ontario or Remote Quebec (Greater Montreal Area). This hybrid role focuses on driving sales profitability and executing Nestlé Canada’s marketing and sales initiatives, strengthening customer relationships and achieving targets.

You will manage trade spend, develop category plans, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver growth.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as an Account Manager with a proven track record.
  • Proficiency in working with Nielsen data is essential.
  • Experience managing trade spend is an asset.
  • Post-secondary education in a business-related discipline.
  • Proficient computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Copilot, and Power BI is an asset.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills with the ability to present analytics and deliver presentations.
  • Strong data storytelling abilities to deliver actionable insights.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and time management; strong prioritization and project management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and achieve the sales business plan for assigned categories.
  • Manage total trade spend by category and achieve shelf, distribution, and promotional targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Category Managers, Merchants, and Assistants, plus internal teams.
  • Ensure activation of Category Roadmap and Sales Playbook initiatives within the Customer Category Plan(s).
  • Participate in Joint Value Creation initiatives and provide input for Integrated Commercial Plans.
  • Develop Category Plan-based sales presentations and leverage Category Roadmaps for tailored recommendations.
  • Enter promotion plans into planning tools to support forecasting responsibilities.
  • Manage commercial spend to achieve sales volume, trade spend, and customer contribution goals.

What to Expect

We are looking for a results-oriented Key Account Manager, Sobeys on the Waters business to join our Nestlé Sales office in Brampton, Ontario or Remote Quebec (Greater Montreal Area). This position is pivotal in driving sales profitability and ensuring the effective execution of Nestlé Canada’s marketing and sales initiatives. The Key Account Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing customer relationships and achieving sales targets, contributing to the overall success of Nestlé Canada. A day in the life

As an Key Account Manager you will be responsible to develop and achieve the sales business plan for the assigned categories by implementing the strategy, managing total trade spend by category and achieving shelf, distribution, and promotional targets.

  • Analyze, identify, monitor, and address specific issues to achieve Nestlé’s goals for sales, commercial spend, share, distribution, and operating budgets.
  • Effectively manage internal and external relationships, meeting the agreed level of customer contact with Category Managers, Merchants, and Assistants, as well as CDT members, Demand Supply Planning (DSP), Retail Sales, Category Sales Development, and Shared Services.
  • Ensure activation of targeted Category Roadmap and Sales Playbook initiatives within the Customer Category Plan(s).
  • Participate in and support the development of Joint Value Creation (JVC) initiatives and provide input and feedback to support the development of Integrated Commercial Plans (ICP).
  • Develop and customize Category Plan-based sales presentations, leveraging Category Roadmaps to make recommendations relevant and applicable to each customer’s business needs.
  • Enter all relevant customer and category promotion plans into the Customer Management Tool (ASP tool and/or other planning tools) in a timely manner to support Demand Planners in their forecasting responsibilities.
  • Effectively manage commercial spend to achieve sales volume, trade spend, and customer contribution goals, including administration, record keeping, tracking, and follow-up.

Compensation Range: CAD 120,000 to CAD 140,000 + bonus eligibility
