The Salvation Army Okanagan Central is hiring a Kettle Runner for a short-term contract. You will oversee multiple kettle locations in a defined zone, including malls, grocery stores, and retailers. Responsibilities include training volunteers, securing donations, and daily reporting.
Compensation ranges from $18.25 to $22.23 per hour, with a max of $26.20. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required, along with ability to lift 9–12 kg and pass background checks.

Kettle Runner position is a short-term contract position. The successful candidate is responsible for oversight of several Christmas Kettle locations in a given geographical zone area. Zone locations include shopping malls, grocery stores and retail outlets.
Collect donations in accordance with policies and procedures ensuring donations are always kept secure.
Work environment is a typical office environment and typically in malls/stores
A minimum of one year of related experience or working in customer service
Money handling experience is an asset
Related experience is an asset
The target hiring range for this position is $18.25 to $22.23 with a maximum of $26.20.
Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
