Dog Tales Rescue & Sanctuary in King City, Ontario is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to maintain clean kennels and staff areas. You will work with Dog Handlers to keep animals safe, clean, and comfortable while they wait for forever homes.
The role requires 2+ years of cleaning experience, ability to lift heavy objects, and the ability to work independently or in a team. Shifts are 7am-4pm or 12pm-9pm, five days per week, on-site with competitive salary and benefits.
We’re looking for passionate and dedicated Cleaners to join our team. In this role, you will work alongside Dog Handlers to ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of dog kennels and staff common areas. As part of our team, you’ll play an essential role in keeping our animals happy, comfortable, and healthy while they wait for their forever homes. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and on their feet all day.
Dog Tales is a world-renowned dog rescue and horse sanctuary set on an incredible 50 acres of green fields, rolling hills, and wooded areas in King City, Ontario. Our picturesque location – complete with walking trails, therapy pools, and a grooming spa – is the perfect setting for abused and neglected animals to heal and be rehabilitated while they wait for forever homes. Along with medical care, our team provides all of the love, attention, and training that our rescue animals need to recover from their difficult pasts, so that they can move on to permanent, loving homes, which most do. For the rest, Dog Tales is home for as long as they need it to be.

Compensation: $42,000 per year
All animals require care year-round, including weekends and evenings. Our team members work varied shifts 5 days per week (7am-4pm or 12pm-9pm) from Monday-Sunday, including holidays.
