Job summary

Noble K9 Inc is seeking a dedicated Kennel Technician for an on-site role in St. Agatha, Ontario. This part-time position pays $18.00 per hour and involves feeding, exercising, and caring for dogs, plus maintaining clean kennels.

You will provide excellent customer service to pet owners, monitor animal health, assist with grooming, and keep accurate records. Kennel Tech experience (1 year) is required. Work location is in-person at our Cambridge area facilities.

• Strong customer service skills when interacting with pet owners.
• Ability to handle and restrain animals safely.
• Knowledge of basic animal care and behaviour.

We specialize in behaviour modification and protection K9s

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service to pet owners
• Feed, water, and exercise animals according to schedules and instructions
• Clean and disinfect kennels, cages, and other animal holding areas
• Monitor the health and well-being of animals and report any concerns to the appropriate staff
• Administer medications or treatments as directed by staff
• Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing and brushing animals
• Maintain accurate records of animal care and behaviour

Skills:

• Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners in a friendly and professional manner
• Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and securely
• Knowledge of basic animal care and behaviour (as trainers we present opportunities to further knowledge on dog training and behaviour modification)
• Ability to lift heavy objects, such as bags of food or large dogs, as needed
• Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
