Job summary

Bartech Staffing is seeking a contract KBE Engineer in Windsor, Ontario. The role focuses on Knowledge Based Engineering, using Catia and NX to create parametric models for vehicle components and assemblies, and to guide architecture and packaging decisions.

The candidate should have a Mechanical/Automotive/Aerospace background with ABET-equivalent credentials and be comfortable traveling for meetings as needed. This onsite position requires collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical, Automotive or Aerospace Engineering from an ABET accredited or equivalent program.
• Experience with desigin commodity exterior plastic parts
• Team player

Responsibilities

• Create CAD parametric models for commodities using Knowledge Based Engineering templates.
• Demonstrate Catia/NX modeling expertise and develop/packaging/ synthesizing complex vehicle systems.
• Define architecture and construction techniques, create master development/packaging/requirements, and train other Catia/NX engineers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Knowledge Based Engineer (KBE). Responsibilities include creating CAD (Catia/NX) parametric math models for commodities using Knowledge Based Engineering template modeling techniques. Position requires extensive knowledge of Catia/NX modeling and an extensive background developing / packaging / synthesizing complex vehicle systems. Additional responsibilities include dictating architecture and construction techniques, creating master development / packaging / requirement sections, defining master template modeling structures, and training other Catia/NX engineers on modeling techniques, architecture.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical, Automotive or Aerospace Engineering from an ABET accredited or equivalent program.
