I’m looking for a motivated junior developer to join me on a part-time contract basis, working remotely from anywhere in Canada. You’ll contribute to real client work (often for nonprofits) and open source projects like Winter CMS , all while growing your skills with my guidance.

This is an ideal opportunity for a junior dev who’s eager to grow and get hands-on experience without being thrown in the deep end.

Remote (Canada only)

5–15 hours/week

Experience & Requirements

Solid grasp of programming fundamentals (especially object-oriented PHP)

Motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn

Clear communicator comfortable with async work

Based in Canada and legally allowed to work as an independent contractor

Nice to have:

Laravel or Winter CMS experience

Open source contributions

Experience with the Canadian Cadet programs

Responsibilities
