Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Junior Water/Wastewater Process Mechanical Designer in Ottawa to support a fast‑paced team. You’ll apply 3D modeling using state-of-the-art tools, follow automation standards, and assist the design group to deliver work efficiently.

You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, resolve technical issues, and help maintain technical standards across disciplines. Hybrid work includes two Ottawa office visits weekly with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• College or university education in a technical field or equivalent.
• Working toward a CET designation through OACETT.
• 0 to 2 years of municipal water/wastewater project delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist drafting for Water/Wastewater treatment infrastructure and related systems.
• Coordinate designs with engineers and other disciplines to ensure quality output.
• Prepare construction package drawings and maintain project design standards.
• Collaborate with project leads and travel as needed for meetings.
