AmpThink is seeking a motivated Junior Structured Cabling Technician to join our team. You will assist in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of structured cabling systems at high-profile venues across North America. This is an excellent entry path into network infrastructure with skilled mentors.

You will gain hands-on experience with Cat 5/6 and fiber, site surveys, and documentation while adhering to safety standards and behaving as a collaborative team member.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation and termination of structured cabling including Cat 5/6, Fiber Optic cables, and associated hardware.
• Help perform site surveys and assess locations for cable runs and equipment installation.
• Adhere to quality standards and best practices for structured cabling installations.
• Collaborate with senior technicians to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects.
• Participate in troubleshooting and resolving cabling issues at various venues.
• Maintain documentation of installations and work performed.
• Support all safety and environmental guidelines in the workplace.
