Job summary

TeamBuilders Consulting is seeking a Junior Software Developer for industrial data and automation. You’ll turn complex data into practical applications, dashboards, and solutions, working with SCADA data, historians, and connected systems to acquire, transform, contextualize, and visualize information that supports real-world operations.

You’ll develop software applications, dashboards, reports, and data solutions, build data pipelines with Python and SQL, and collaborate with engineers, PMs,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software development, data engineering, analytics, or related field
• Strong Python and SQL skills
• Experience with dashboards, data visualization, or reporting
• Experience with data pipelines, ETL/ELT, or system integrations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Applied Data Analytics certification is highly preferred
• Industrial automation experience is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Develop software applications, dashboards, reports, and data solutions
• Build and maintain data pipelines using Python and SQL
• Work with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, TimescaleDB, and industrial historians
• Develop data visualizations and user interfaces
• Design ETL/ELT pipelines and analytics solutions
• Integrate systems using APIs and protocols such as OPC UA, MQTT, and Modbus
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, controls teams, and clients
• Troubleshoot and support deployed solutions
• Improve delivery through automation, templates, and repeatable processes
• Contribute to modern data platform architecture and solution design
