Job summary

The role anticipates an October start. Candidates should have a CS/IT degree and 1+ year of software development experience, with C++, SQL, and Agile exposure prioritized.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of recent experience developing and testing software applications.
• 6+ months in a combined experience with C++/SQL/Web app design within the past 3 years.
• Experience in Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Study existing PL/SQL code and write PL/SQL to meet change specifications.
• Create, design and debug C++, PL/SQL, C#, JavaScript or JSON code to ensure performance.
• Analyze problems per team guidance including data transfer, sorting, and formatting.
• Assist TA with other Junior Software Developer tasks as needed.

We are seeking a JuniorSoftware Developerwho is eager to learn, grow their technical skills, and contribute to meaningful client projects within secure environments.

In this role, you will work alongside experienced team members, support the delivery of mission-critical solutions, and haveanopportunity to contribute across a variety of projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• The study of existing PL SQL Code and write PL SQL code to meet requirements of change specifications;
• The creation, design and debug of C++ and/or PL SQL and/or C# and/or Java Script and/or JSON code to ensure technical performance.
• The analysis of the problems outlined by team seniors in terms of such factors as style and extent of information to be transferred to and from storage units, variety of items to be processed, extent of sorting, and format of final printed results; and
• Any other Junior Software Developer related tasks requested by the Technical Authority (TA) to support operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree from an accredited University or College in Computer Science or Information Management, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Programming
• 1+ year of recent experience developing and testing software applications
• Minimum of 6 months of demonstrated combined experience within the past 3 years in:
  • C++ using MS Visual Studio for application development OR SQL for applications development OR Web application design
• Minimum of 6 months of demonstrated experience developing software within an Agile environment
• Experience as a software developer working for a large organizationsupporting HRMSapplicationdevelopment and testing will be considered a strong asset

Additional Information

• Must currently hold or be eligible to obtain andmaintainaCanadian Federal Government Reliability Status and a VCR clearance.
  • If you do not currently hold the required security clearance ADGA caninitiatetheclearance process on your behalf; however, you will not be eligible for hire until the clearance has been successfully obtained.
