Broadsign, a growing software company in Montreal, is seeking a Junior Software Developer focusing on Android and TypeScript. You will bridge business requirements with scalable solutions, contributing to a media player application designed for robustness and high availability.

You will work on a modern stack including Kotlin, TypeScript, and WebView/Chromium, within an Agile team. 1–3 years of experience and a strong foundation in software engineering are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with Android and TypeScript applications.
• Experience with Git version control and CI/CD practices.
• Familiarity with testing (JUnit/Jest) and modern dev processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an Android and TypeScript-based media player application.
• Collaborate with product and design teams in an Agile environment.
• Contribute to code reviews and technical design discussions.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure robust features.
• Optimize performance for various devices and environments.
