Job summary

Broadsign in Montreal is seeking a Full-Stack Software Developer to drive features across the front-end and back-end of our OO/OH media platform. You’ll write clean, testable code, implement REST APIs, and apply SOLID and agile practices to deliver reliable software used by millions of viewers.

You’ll collaborate in a fast-paced R&D environment, contribute to sprints, and continuously refine the product with modern tools, ensuring quality and scalability.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience in software development.
• Proficient with object-oriented languages like C# (.NET Core).
• Understanding and applying SOLID principles.
• Experience with AWS (CloudFormation, ECS).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs.
• Experience with testable code and TDD.
• Strong belief in agile principles.
• Experience with SQL.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new features on front-end and back-end of Broadsign software suite.
• Refine and maintain existing features.

About the Role

As a Full-Stack Software Developer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the evolution of our industry-leading out-of-home media platforms by bridging the gap between robust backend architectures and sleek, responsive user interfaces. What to expect

The R&D department is at the center of the action at Broadsign.

Your main focus will be to design and develop new features on both the front and back-end of our software suite. And because you’re a technology enthusiast, you’ll probably want to tweak and maintain our existing feature set as well! You’ll get to participate in sprints where you’ll be encouraged to share your ideas and knowledge with your team. You’ll be working in a dynamic and peer-driven environment where you’ll play with all the latest and greatest hardware and software!

What you need to perform in this job

• 3-7 years of experience in software development
• Experience working with object-oriented languages like C# (.NET Core)
• You understand and use the SOLID principles!
• You have used tools such as AWS (CloudFormation, ECS)

• Experience writing testable code and be familiar with TDD
