Qualifications

At Rewind we provide industryleading backup and recovery solutions for businesses operating in the Atlassian GitHub Shopify and ecosystems. Our mission is to ensure that companies can secure restore and recover their critical SaaS data with ease and confidence.

As we continue to grow were looking for a Junior Sales Engineer to partner with our Commercial Sales Team serving as the technical expert and trusted advisor for prospective customers.

About the Role

As a Junior Sales Engineer youll be the goto technical resource for the Commercial Sales Team working alongside Account Executives (AEs) to drive revenue by demonstrating the value of Rewinds platform. Youll play a crucial role in presales engagements helping customers understand how our backup & recovery solutions fit into their existing workflows.

Your daytoday will include :

Technical Discovery & Consultation Understanding customer needs challenges and technical requirements to align Rewinds solutions with their business goals.

Product Demonstrations Delivering engaging and tailored product demos that highlight Rewinds capabilities in action.

Proof of Concept (PoC) Management Assisting prospects in testing and evaluating our platform through structured PoCs and technical trials.

Technical Enablement Acting as a subject matter expert (SME) for all things backup recovery and data protection ensuring our sales team is equipped with the right technical knowledge.

Objection Handling & Solutioning Addressing technical concerns security questions and integration challenges to instill confidence in our platform.

Collaboration with Internal Teams Working closely with Product Customer Success and Engineering to provide feedback from the field and help refine our offerings.

Qualifications :

What Were Looking For

Were seeking a techsavvy customerfocused and problemsolving individual who can balance technical expertise with strong communication skills. You dont need to have extensive work experience we are looking for problem solvers outofthebox thinkers and technical aptitude.

The ideal candidate will have :

Ideally 1 year of experience in a presales engineering solutions engineering or technical sales role however if you have less and see this role as a fit for your skills apply!

Strong technical acumen ability to grasp technical concepts quickly

Knowledge of SaaS applications and APIs experience with Atlassian GitHub Shopify or is a major plus but not a must have

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS GCP Azure)

Understanding of data backup recovery and disaster recovery solutions is a big plus

Excellent presentation and communication skills able to translate technical jargon into business value.

Proactiveness you are curious individual looking improvements and innovation in everything you do

Ability to work crossfunctionally with Sales Product and Engineering teams.

Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where employees work from the office three days / week. This role will be based out of our Toronto office.
