Qualifications

• Honors degree in Physics or Nuclear Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Proficiency in reactor physics, physics, nuclear engineering, or related discipline is expected.
• Proficiency with computer environments; Linux/Windows experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in FORTRAN programming.
• Ability to communicate effectively via technical writing and presentations.
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage changing priorities in a team.

As a Junior Reactor Physicist, you will support the design of new CANDU nuclear power plants and the safe operation of existing domestic and international facilities. Working alongside experienced specialists, you will develop technical expertise while contributing to meaningful engineering projects that help shape the energy industry.

Your Role

• Perform reactor physics analyses to support reactor design, operation, and safety activities.

About You

• A Relevant honors degree from a university of recognized standing in Physics or Nuclear Engineering or equivalent; reactor physics experience and/or background is a strong asset.
• Proficiency in reactor physics, Physics, Nuclear Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in computer environments, with experience using Linux and Windows systems considered an asset.
• Proficiency in computer programming, particularly FORTRAN.
• Ability to communicate effectively through technical writing and presentations.
• Ability to work collaboratively, manage changing priorities, and demonstrate initiative in a team environment.
