North America Construction (1993) Ltd. – NAC Constructors Ltd. is seeking a Junior Quality Coordinator for the Dalewood Water Reclamation Facility project in St. Thomas, Ontario.

This field-focused role supports QA/QC activities, inspections, testing, documentation and closeout on active construction projects. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Qualifications

• New graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Understanding of construction quality assurance and quality control principles.
• Field-focused for a proactive quality mindset is a must.
• Attention to detail and ability to identify work that does not meet project requirements.
• Effective field inspection, observation and documentation skills.
• Ability to prepare clear inspection reports.
• Strong organizational and document control skills.
• Understanding of ISO 9001 quality management principles would be an asset.
• Understanding CSA and other industry standards is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Support NAC's Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes on active projects.
• Work with the project management team members.
• Support quality control activities on active construction projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts and approved shop drawings.
• Coordinate material testing (concrete, soil compaction, etc.).
• Review material receiving documentation and certificates of compliance.
• Track non-conformance reports and corrective actions.
• Participate in preparatory meetings and quality inspections.
