Job summary

Groupe ADF Inc. in Terrebonne, Quebec, is seeking a recent Civil/Construction Engineering graduate to support large-scale metal structure projects. You will review schedules, coordinate steel fabrication, prepare shop drawings with customers, and help drive project execution with the production team.

Ideal candidates hold a Canadian civil/construction engineering degree, are bilingual (FR/EN), and are members of the OIQ. A 4.5-day work week and strong benefits complete our offer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and/or Construction Engineering recognized in Canada.
• 0 to 6 months of relevant experience.
• Must have a Canadian passport or other documentation required for a U.S. work visa.
• Must be a member of the OIQ (Quebec Order Of Engineers).
• Spoken and written languages: French and English (bilingual).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MS Project software (an asset).
• Demonstrate leadership and organizational skills.
• Sense of initiative and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing project estimates, clarifying requirements, and resolving ambiguities, if necessary.
• Ensuring the execution of complex projects.
• Coordinating steel manufacturing with the production department.
• Establishing manufacturing sequences.
• Coordinating steel deliveries according to the established schedule.
• Participating in and coordinating periodic invoicing according to established contractual clauses.
• Preparing, maintaining, and revising the project schedule.
• Following up on the approval of shop drawings with customers and putting them into production according to the project schedule.
• All other tasks related to the position.
