Job summary

Groupe ADF Inc. in Terrebonne, Canada invites recent graduates to join our civil/construction engineering team on a major metal-structure project. You will plan schedules, review requirements, and coordinate production from design to fabrication.

You will also prepare reports and provide daily updates to the Terrebonne team on cross-border projects, contributing to on-time delivery and quality. This is a great entry opportunity for recent grads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and/or Construction Engineering recognized in Canada.
• 0 to 6 months of relevant experience.
• Must be bilingual in French and English.
• Must be a member of the OIQ (Quebec Order Of Engineers).

Responsibilities

• Reviewing project estimates and clarifying requirements as needed.
• Ensuring the execution of complex projects and coordinating steel manufacturing with production.
• Establishing manufacturing sequences and coordinating deliveries on schedule.
• Preparing and revising the project schedule and shop drawings for production.
• Representing ADF on a U.S.-based project and providing daily updates to Terrebonne.

Contributing to this role is:

• Reviewing project estimates, clarifying requirements, and resolving ambiguities, if necessary;
• Ensuring the execution of complex projects;
• Coordinating steel manufacturing with the production department;
• Establishing manufacturing sequences;
• Coordinating steel deliveries according to the established schedule;
• Participating in and coordinating periodic invoicing according to established contractual clauses;
• Preparing, maintaining, and revising the project schedule;
• Following up on the approval of shop drawings with customers and putting them into production according to the project schedule;
• All other tasks related to the position;

In spring 2027, the successful candidate will represent ADF on a U.S.-based project for a few months. The candidate will be responsible for preparing reports and providing daily updates to the team in Terrebonne.

Desired professional profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and/or Construction Engineering recognized in Canada
• 0 to 6 months of relevant experience
• Must have a Canadian passport or other documentation required for a U.S. work visa
• Must be a member of the OIQ (Quebec Order Of Engineers)
• Spoken and written languages: French and English (bilingual)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MS Project software (an asset)
• Demonstrate leadership and organizational skills
• Sense of initiative and teamwork
