Onni in Vancouver is seeking a Junior Formwork Project Manager to drive schedules, coordinate subcontractors, and manage project scope from tender through completion.

You will report to CapWest leadership, overseeing multifamily and commercial sites while ensuring on-time delivery, quality, and budget adherence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of multifamily residential construction experience.
• Understanding of the structural building sequence.
• Direct work experience in project management with process development and execution.
• Experience overseeing large high-rise, multifamily and commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, track and maintain project schedules.
• Review critical path and adapt to meet deadlines.
• Report and update leadership on project schedule.
• Oversee tendering and contract administration.
• Plan scope for subcontractors and staff with Project Director.
• Allocate project resources and equipment.
• Document, communicate and report progress.

Scheduling:

• Developing, tracking, andmaintainingproject schedules

• Reviewing critical path, and quickly adapting or accelerating projects to meet deadlines

• Reporting, and updatingProject DirectorandCapWestFormingleadership of project schedule

Management and Leadership:

• Oversee tendering process and contract administration

• Overall planning anddefining ofproject scope for all subcontractors, and employees as coordinated withthe Project Director.

• Project resourceand equipmentallocation from internal and external resources.

• Project documentation,communicationand reporting

Quality Control:

• Proactively manage changes in project scope,identifypotential issues, and devise contingency plans ifrequired

• Ongoing troubleshooting and problem solving, includingtracking ofchanges in drawings, internal changeordersand back charges.

• Ensure project is built on budget, on schedule and on drawing specifications

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Minimum 5 years of multifamily residential construction related experience

• Understanding of thestructuralbuildingsequence

• Direct work experience inaprojectmanagement capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution

• Experience overseeing large high-rise and podium multifamily and commercial projects anasset

• Certificate, University degree, or college diploma would be an asset

• Project Management education an asset
