Job Summary
Reporting to a Project Manager, this position is responsible to assist in the planning, coordinating, resource management, reporting, and contributing to project success while gaining experience in project management processes and modular construction.
Key Responsibilities
·Assisting in Project Planning:Contributing to the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets, often under the guidance of senior managers.
·Coordinating Team Activities:Facilitating communication and collaboration within project teams, ensuring everyone is aware of their roles and responsibilities.
·Monitoring and Reporting:Tracking project progress, identifying potential risks, and reporting on the status of projects to stakeholders.
·Managing Documentation:Maintaining project documentation, ensuring it's accurate and up to date.
·Handling Stakeholder Communication:Communicating with stakeholders, including clients and team members, to keep them informed about project progress and any issues.
·Risk Management Support:Assisting in identifying and managing potential risks to the project.
Skills and Qualifications
·Required skills include leadership, communication, time management, interpersonal skills and risk management.
·Project Management Knowledge:Understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
·Communication Skills:Ability to communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
·Organizational Skills:Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and organize work.
·Technical Skills:Proficiency in project management software and other relevant software.
·Teamwork Skills:Ability to work collaboratively with others in a team environment.
·Problem-Solving Skills:Ability to identify and resolve issues that may arise during a project.
Assets
·Education: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Project Management, Architecture, Engineering
·Experience: 1-3 years of experience in construction project coordination or management
·Certifications: Knowledge of project management certifications such as PMP
·Knowledge of modular construction
Renumeration and Benefits
·Salary range between $80,000 - $95,000 annually
