What's the opportunity?

We’re looking for an enthusiastic candidate to fill our Operations Coordinator role on a one year contract.With responsibilities spanning local and company-wide initiatives, this role will support key RBC Borealis operational processes and programs across multiple offices. As member of the team, you will be joining a group that believes in being bold & curious, so we are looking for someone who is driven, eager to make an impact, and thinks outside the box!

Your responsibilities include:

  • Local office support to two offices (Toronto & Waterloo), such as coordinating team lunches and events, on/off-boarding employees, providing exceptional employee support;
  • Create and foster the employee experience by coordinating and executing office events, creating effective communications to employees, and proactively anticipating employee needs;
  • Coordinate key RBC Borealis organizational initiatives and processes that support the development of a high-performance culture, such as employee on/off boarding and execution of Town Halls;
  • Contribute to the implementation of operational improvements in order to streamline processes;
  • Monthly travel to Waterloo office to assist with office coordinator and management.

You're our ideal candidate if you have:

  • Recent graduate in business administration, business management or relevant experience;
  • 2-3 years relevant office, administrative, or event coordination experience;
  • Keen interest in logistics, event coordination, office management, and administration;
  • Strong interpersonal relationship skills;
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately with minimal supervision;
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills;
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
