Job summary

You will collaborate across technical teams to optimize operations in Upgrading, Extraction, and Utilities, with relocation assistance provided. Qualifications include an undergraduate degree in chemical or mineral processing engineering and 0–5 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in chemical or mineral process engineering.
• 0–5 years of experience for new grads or junior engineers.
• Must be eligible for APEGA professional membership.
• Strong computer skills; MS Office required; process simulators are a plus.
• Alberta Class 5 Driver's Licence or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize process performance to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Ensure safe, reliable operations through monitoring and field inspections.
• Lead troubleshooting and improvement projects while mentoring junior engineers.
• Support maintenance, turnarounds, and efficiency initiatives aligned with safety standards.
• Apply engineering judgment and collaboration to deliver cost-effective, safe solutions.
