Crowfoot Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Calgary is seeking a reliable Junior Parts Person/Parts Runner to help manage parts inventory and support service technicians. You will ensure timely delivery of parts, assist with counter sales, and help with receiving, stocking, and organizing deliveries.

In this dual-role, you’ll operate within Capital Automotive Group’s network, with opportunities to grow through ongoing training and internal promotions, while maintaining a clean and efficient parts area

Formación

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Familiarity with automotive parts and dealership operations is an asset.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Transport parts between the parts department and service technicians to minimize downtime.
• Assist in picking, organizing, and fulfilling parts orders for technicians and clients.
• Handle front-counter parts sales and answer parts inquiries.
• Pickup and deliver parts from vendors and other dealer locations as needed.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing incoming parts deliveries.
• Perform regular parts inventory counts and audits.
• Process warranty claims, returns, and related documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe parts storage area and delivery vehicle.

In this dual-role capacity, you will play a crucial role in managing inventory and counter requests while ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of parts and supplies between the Parts Department and Service Technicians. Your attention to detail, organization, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will directly contribute to our team’s success in delivering exceptional service to our customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Transport parts and supplies promptly between the parts department and service technicians, ensuring minimal downtime for repairs
• Assist in picking, organizing, and fulfilling parts orders for technicians and external clients
• Handle front-counter parts sales and assist customers with parts inquiries
• Pick up and deliver parts from vendors and other dealership locations as needed
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, stocking, and organizing incoming parts deliveries
• Perform regular parts inventory management, including routine stock counts and audits
• Process parts warranty claims, returns, and associated administrative documentation
• Handle the return of defective or unused parts to suppliers or vendors
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized parts storage area and delivery vehicle
• Maintain clear and professional communication with the parts department, service team, vendors, and other stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Familiarity with automotive parts and dealership operations is an asset
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 pounds) as required
