Job summary

PTW Energy Services seeks a Junior Building QC Inspector to ensure quality, integrity, and performance of modular and rigid-frame buildings from fabrication to site installation.

You will inspect building-envelope components, structural elements, and workmanship against drawings, specifications, ITPs, codes, and client requirements, coordinating with client and third-party inspectors while documenting findings.

Qualifications

• Experience in modular building fabrication or building-envelope inspection.
• Knowledge of building codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Ability to identify workmanship deficiencies impacting envelope integrity.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections of modular, skid-mounted, and rigid-frame buildings through fabrication, assembly, finishing, shipment, and onsite installation.
• Conduct yard and pre-shipment inspections to verify condition, punch-list status, and readiness for shipment.
• Inspect building-envelope components (roofing, walls, insulation, cladding, trim, doors/windows) for weather-tightness.
• Review drawings, specifications, ITPs, and codes to ensure workmanship and installation meet requirements.
• Coordinate with client, third-party inspectors, and site supervision to support inspections.
• Complete inspection reports, checklists, photos, and quality records.
