Job summary

49North in Canada is seeking a Jr Software Developer to join the GPD program, building flight procedure design systems and contributing to mission-critical software. You will design, code, test, and deploy high-quality software in a collaborative team environment.

You will work with Java and C++ and apply OOP concepts, follow standards, and help create internal tools and automated tests while pursuing security clearance requirements.

Qualifications

• Programming experience in an object-oriented language.
• Knowledge of object-oriented design patterns.
• Experience with Java and/or C++ is desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to solve complex problems within budget and on schedule.
• University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or related discipline.

As a Software Developer with the Global Procedure Designer (GPD) program, you will make worldwide flight safer by improving the world’s leading instrument flight procedure design system. You will solve complex problems through hard work, a passion for quality, an inquisitive mind, a team-first approach and an innovative edge. Requirements
