Please note, this is not an automotive or manufacturing related position. Only those who show experience with MEP, HVAC, and plumbing systems will be considered.

Responsibilities

1. Work in a collaborative environment with other team members and staff.
2. Review technical documents for plumbing, heating, and HVAC systems.
3. Gather all necessary project information to generate detailed models of mechanical systems to be installed.
4. Prepare 3D Revit models for the flow of information from engineered design to project management and field personnel.
5. Work with suppliers and vendors to ensure competitive pricing and maintain profitability.
6. Understand contractual terms, conditions, and obligations.
7. Meet deadlines in a timely fashion.
8. Liaise, consult, and communicate with contractors, suppliers, and engineers/consultants.
9. Assist in budget preparation.
10. Assist with shop drawing review.
11. Perform additional duties as determined based on the knowledge and experience of the applicant.

Qualifications

1. CET graduate or equivalent work experience is preferred.
2. Understanding and working knowledge of mechanical systems such as plumbing, venting, hot water heating, chilled water, medical gas, compressed air, natural gas, and ventilation.
3. Knowledge of all relevant building codes and TSSA regulations.
4. Knowledge and understanding of architectural standards, building sciences, construction technologies, and practices.
5. Ability to read and understand construction plans.
6. Thorough knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Pay: From $20.00 per hour
