Job description

Agilus is recruiting for a Junior Measurement Analyst in the Oil and Gas Sector in Calgary, Alberta.

The primary responsibility of this role is to support the daily commercial functions of the Westcoast Pipeline. Responsibilities include ensuring accuracy and timeliness of daily and monthly gas volume and compositional measurement data, backup and support of nomination, scheduling, customer service, and contract functions, ensuring business is completed in a timely and accurate manner. This is a critical daily function with high business impact to the company and its customers.

A typical day:

1. The incumbent will be accountable for ensuring accuracy and timeliness of hourly volumetric and compositional data electronically populated in measurement software.
2. Complete the month-end cycle for all volumetric and compositional data within set timelines for both internal and external customers.
3. Collaborate with external customers and internal stakeholders such as Customer Service, field personnel, measurement technicians, and Measurement Technical Services to investigate and resolve metering issues and discrepancies while maintaining records.
4. Maintain and adhere to procedures and policies, ensuring all documentation and filing are complete, up-to-date, and auditable regarding GMAS/Sightline data adjustments.
5. Participate in project testing, user acceptance, and execution; recommend process improvements and provide subject matter expertise.
6. Support other critical daily activities, including completing gas cycles within timelines, scheduling nominations according to GISB guidelines, and preparing service agreements for review and execution.
7. Create and maintain data configurations in measurement software.

Successful candidates will have:

• Self-motivation and the ability to work independently and in teams across various support areas.
• Eagerness to learn and adaptability to new processes and ideas.

• Shift work may be required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with shifts from 7 am - 3:30 pm or 11 am - 7:30 pm, plus 12.5-hour gas day coverage, 365 days per year.
