Job summary

ABL Employment.com is seeking a proactive Junior IT Administrator to support day-to-day technology operations. You will provide technical assistance to users and help maintain IT systems and equipment across the organization.

This role offers a stable Monday to Friday schedule with occasional on-call support, competitive hourly pay, and a comprehensive benefits package. You will gain exposure to a variety of technologies and IT projects while collaborating with a supportive IT team.

Qualifications

• Diploma, degree, or equivalent in IT or related field.
• 2–4 years IT support or systems administration experience.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments.
• Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
• Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel between sites.
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Azure, or CCNA are assets.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for hardware, software, and user issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, peripherals, and mobile devices.
• Assist with network monitoring and basic troubleshooting of connectivity issues.
• Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and related user account administration.
• Perform software installations, updates, and system maintenance tasks.
• Assist with cybersecurity initiatives, including patch management and antivirus updates.
• Maintain IT documentation, asset inventories, and support records.
• Support IT projects, system upgrades, and technology deployments as required.
