Qualifications

• CCIL certification for soils, aggregates and concrete lab testing.
• Experience in a lab setting and instrumentation testing.
• Driver’s license valid for Ontario and field activity may be required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct lab testing for geotechnical projects to produce accurate results.
• Prepare and set up soil samples for testing.
• Collect, reduce and plot lab results; prepare lab reports.
• Test soils for index parameters (Atterberg limits, hydrometers, sieves, moisture, Proctor).
• Conduct testing of concrete per CCIL/CSA requirements.
• Log rock core strength and properties; perform ASTM/CCIL/CSA testing.
• Maintain and calibrate lab equipment; document calibration records.
• Communicate lab results to project engineers verbally and in writing.
