We're currently looking for a Bridge Engineer to join our Calgary Studio. As the successful candidate, you have demonstrated creativity, a collaborative spirit, and a thirst for excellence. Our bridge engineers are involved with the entire project, understanding the constraints and complications from streams, pathways, soils, the environment, construction staging, architectural aspirations, and the needs of project partners and stakeholders.

How you'll make a difference:

• Act as a structural design engineer and/or field review engineer on a variety of bridge and urban infrastructure projects
• Deliver designs for new structures and asset management and rehabilitation of existing structures, such as vehicle bridges, pedestrian bridges, transit bridges, retaining walls, and other civil infrastructure
• Follow all project phases from concept design through construction
• Produce high-quality designs, drawings, specifications, and field review services
• Work independently and collaboratively with engineers, architects, and external partners
• Mentor and review work of junior team members

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering required; Master’s or Ph.D. preferred
• Professional Engineer registered with APEGA or similar; EIT candidates with relevant experience considered
• 3-8 years of bridge design experience preferred; project management experience a plus
• Skilled in bridge design and analysis software such as REVIT, SAP2000, CSI Bridge, or Midas Civil
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple projects
• Committed to design excellence and positive community impact
• Collaborative, resourceful, and adaptable
