Provencher Roy is seeking a Junior Interior Designer to contribute to diverse projects in Quebec and Ontario, collaborating with a dynamic team to develop plans, space concepts, and client presentations.

You will handle plans and shop drawings, space planning with the project manager, and model creation for client reviews, while conducting surveys and calculations to support design decisions. The role offers growth and a supportive, sustainability-focused culture.

Qualifications

• BAC and/or DEC in interior design.
• Minimum of two years of experience.
• Must be eligible to obtain a federal Secret-level security clearance.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Revit is an asset.
• Knowledge of SketchUp, InDesign, Photoshop.
• Excellent communication skills in both official languages (Frequent interaction with English-speaking partners and customers, or participation in meetings in English with the Ottawa office).

Responsibilities

• Produce plans, working drawings, specifications and other related documents.
• Review and approve shop drawings.
• Carry out space planning studies, design concepts and furniture selection with the project manager.
• Prepare plans and models for presentation to the customer.
• Carry out space surveys, inventories and furniture recommendations (if required).
• Perform area calculations.
